Callies: Letters

Dear Kristy,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything. I enjoyed my stay in San Antonio and I look forward to going again. The talent was excellent, and the show was fabulous. I have been telling everyone about the wave of fresh faces coming from Texas. We are looking forward to y'all coming in January and wish everyone the best of luck here in Los Angeles.

Sincerely yours,
Brandon Olech

Dear Kristy and All the Great Talent,

Thank you so much for inviting us as your guests for the Callie Awards! It was such an honor to be included and have the opportunity to see the performances of everyone. We truly understand the hard work and long hours that it takes to do a showcase, especially one like you did.

We strive very hard to include your talent when we are casting and appreciate the talent coming to Dallas for our auditions. Your showcase provided us the opportunity to see and enjoy your talent in an element other than just a quick commercial audition!

Thank you so much for the wonderful treat!!!!

Sincerely,
Michal Berry and Amy Levy-Lancaster

Kristy,

This card is long overdue!!! But, you know how it is...busy, busy, busy!!! I just wanted to thank you for your hospitality and class. I look forward to seeing you when you come to LA. Keep me posted as to who and when someone (talent) is coming, too.

Dear Kristy,

Just wanted to say a "big thank you" for inviting me to the Callies. It was outstanding, to say the least. Every bit of your hard work and dedication really shined through. If there is any question of what Calliope is all about, it was answered that night. I am so proud of you and I'm honored to be working with you.

As we've discussed, it's very sad that some people cannot understand just how hard this business can be, nor how hard agents and managers have to work in representing various talent. Many times they make assumptions on things that might not be going to their satisfaction at that particular time... or they feel left out because someone else booked a part and they didn't. They don't realize that the agent/manager is constantly working for them, nor do they realize how fortunate they are to have an agent or manager - period. After last Saturday night, if your talent cannot see, realize, or understand how much you work, love, and really care about them, then they need to find someone else to represent them. Maybe then they will see how difficult this business is, and how people really get taken advantage of in this industry.

Once again Kristy, you are a fantastic person... and a hard working one at that. Keep up the great work, and thanks again for letting me be a part of a truly fantastic event.

Love from your friend,
Jim Purdy

Dear Kristy,

Hello! Thank you so much for a great weekend. I have been extremely busy since my return from San Antonio. However, my experience during that weekend has not gone unnoticed.

I want to especially thank you for a fun-filled weekend. It was so nice to be able to "overview" your talent. I was very impressed with their hard work, determination, and ability. The contestants and their families are all special components that contribute to the success of the awards show (I know that you are well aware of this). It is nice to know that their host places an emphasis on honesty, credibility, success, and "hands on" commitment to their career goals.

Personally, I want to express my interest in you and your agency. I look forward to working more with you. As a result of attending the awards show, I feel that I have some feedback and suggestions for you and your talent that will make it easier for their entrance into the "Fashion World." I would like to share with you some of these suggestions to help your talent.

Do not hesitate to contact me anytime. Again, thank you for everything.

Best Regards,
Bob Dixon

Dear Kristy,

I would like to express my gratitude for last weekend. I feel honored to have been included in your invited guests. I thank you for the dinner and for the accommodations. It was nice of you, and the evening was great fun. It was also cool the next day to be able to pick up my Calliope book and look up the headshots and resumes of all of the winners. I hope to see many of them soon.

Your hard work is apparent in your agency. I admire your ability to be the go-getter; the friendly, yet aggressive executive. I wish you continued success.

Kindest Regards,
Beth Sepko

Thanks Again,

Dear Kristy,

Thank you for inviting us to your third annual Callie Awards ceremony Saturday evening! Apple Productions was honored to be part of the evening. It was great to have the opportunity to see you and your wonderful talent doing what each of you do best - the talent performing and you promoting and representing them.

Kristy we really had a fantastic time, and it was apparent that the same was true for the entire audience!

We must tell you that we think you and your staff and associates did a first class job on the entire event... from the clever invitation design... to the elegant choice of the Empire Theatre... to the outstanding and very entertaining program, etc. We were so impressed with every detail. Your hard work really paid off!

Thanks again! Please know that we truly appreciate your friendship, as well as the opportunity to work with you and Calliope talent. Remember, if we personally (or Apple Productions) can be of assistance to you in any way, please call us anytime.

Dear Kristy,

I wanted to drop you a note of thanks for having me attend your talent showcase. I was impressed with you, your talent, and your staff... not something a casting director says often!

As I stated when I met you, other agencies will have to look at you with envy knowing you're a hard act to follow. Your attention to detail and desire to see your talent grow and become successful equals future stars. I am looking forward to upcoming projects that will allow me to utilize your talent, and I look forward to working with you and your staff.

In closing, I cannot imagine what you'll do next year to top this year's extravaganza, but I'm truly looking forward to seeing you outdo yourself!

Thanks again,
Robin Craig
