Nicole Connor

Nicole Connor is one of the most respected and well-known talent agents in Los Angeles. She possesses an uncommon passion and dedication for show business, and is unparalleled in her ability to develop and promote undiscovered talent. Nicole has earned the trust of Hollywood’s most notable casting directors. She is considered one of the strongest pitchers in LA (pitchers are known for their ability to promote talent to get them in the caster’s door).

Nicole’s foray into the talent industry came when she was given an opportunity to develop a theatrical (film/TV) and commercial division for an LA agency that was then known for print and fashion. With the development of this department, Nicole put the agency on the Hollywood map.

As Nicole’s reputation for building theatrical and commercial departments became known in the industry, she was asked to restructure or create divisions for several other talent agencies in Los Angeles. To date, she has started or revamped on-camera, commercial, theatrical, and youth departments for several noteworthy agencies in Hollywood.

Nicole’s most recent developmental deal was to create an on-camera department for the prestigious McDonald Selznick Agency. MSA is home to such illustrious performers as Wade Robson (N’Sync, Super Bowl, MTV), Kenny Ortega (Emmy winner for "High School Musical"), Carrie Ann Inaba and Cheryl Burke ("Dancing With the Stars"), Jamie King (Madonna’s Confessions Tour, Christina Aguilera), Robin Antin (creator of The Pussycat Dolls), and many more Emmy and Tony winning performers.

Nicole has recently achieved her longtime goal of owning a talent agency in LA. In 2007, she partnered with Sylvia Ferguson of SFA. Nicole’s clients have booked film and television projects for every major studio in Hollywood, including 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Disney, and Nickelodeon, to name a few. TV credits include "Drake and Josh," "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," "Medium", "Comedy Central", "General Hospital", "Boston Public," and "Jimmy Kimmel," among many others. Her talent consistently book national, regional and worldwide commercials and print campaigns (recent ads include Nike, Mattel, Ross, TJ Maxx, McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Pepsi, and Sunny Delight). One of Nicole’s top clients scored a starring role in "Step Up 2", and another is starring with Jamie Foxx in the upcoming feature "The Soloist."

Nicole’s recognition has placed her at the top of the list for convention invitations. She is a leading industry scout, with ongoing invitations to attend the International Model and Talent Association (IMTA), The Great American Talent Search, The Canadian Showcase, iPOP, and The MB Expo, just to name a few. Nicole has a keen eye for discovering fresh faces, and nurturing/developing talent who possess drive, passion, and potential. She believes that "Passion must be the thread woven through the fabric of an actor."

Kristy Martin, MA, CEO of Calliope Talent Management in Los Angeles and Calliope Talent, Model, and Artist Management in San Antonio, has collaborated with Nicole Connor since 1997. Kristy and Nicole have co-represented several actors who have achieved numerous successes in film, television, and commercials (including the one and only Jimmy Z, "The Patron Saint of Calliope"). Nicole has coached, scouted, and signed Kristy’s actors at all of Calliope’s showcases.

This is an exciting, one of a kind learning experience for talent in development, as well as serious talent desiring to be scouted by a leading LA agent.
