Javier Antonio is an award winning dancer, singer, choreographer, and actor. At the age of 8, Javier began his performance and artistic career in Los Angeles, California. By the age of 11, he participated in, as well as directed, countless dance, singing, and choreography competitions. He won the first of many honors immediately.
Javier has won over 15 noteworthy song, dance, and choreography awards. Memorable prizes and citations include LA's Genius Award for Choreography, LA's Future Choreographer Award, and Most Destined to Be A Star. Javier also won numerous UIL medals for acting, singing, and dance. At the nationally acclaimed MB Expo, Javier held the distinct and unique pleasure of sweeping the top commercial, situation comedy, monologue, print, and dance talent awards. At the age of 16, Javier choreographed a prestigious dance competition that was adapted into a national Gap commercial campaign.
Javier choreographed and starred in award winning troupe productions for Calliope Talent, Model, and Artist Management's competitions at the MB Expo. Utilizing his creative and innovative skills and techniques, he teamed with Calliope CEO/Producer Kristy Martin in securing the overall troupe competition and overall choreography two years in a row. He also choreographed and starred in the Calliope and Preeminent Awards Gala and Showcase, which was attended by more than 100 agents, casting directors, producers, and other industry professionals from New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, and Texas. Javier will choreograph the next Callie Awards, as well as Calliope's upcoming Histrionic Artist Showcase.
Javier was actively recruited by numerous talent representatives by the age of 15, and has appeared in numerous commercials, films, industrial videos, and print campaigns. Regional theatre performances include lead roles in Footloose, West Side Story, and A Tell Tale Heart, among others.
Javier's dance specializations range from hip hop, pop, and techno, to modern, salsa, and cumba. He is known in the industry for his clever and innovative approaches to new and various stylistic interpretations.
Javier is a native Angelino, and travels between California and Texas. Javier actively pursues his career in acting, choreographs productions, and teaches dance classes for working professionals in Los Angeles and Texas.
