Dorothy Hamill was a Gold Medalist at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. Dorothy was a young sensation in the world of figure skating, and she remains a beloved figure in the world of sports history. Recently, Ms. Hamill was featured on the cover of Coping with Cancer Magazine. Calliope Talent, Model, and Artist Management are proud to have facilitated Ms. Hamill’s participation for an interview and photo shoot. Ms. Hamill shared her story about her battle with breast cancer. Amanda plays the college-age date for the star quarterback in the show. Great job Amanda!     

<a href="/talent/204">Chris LaMark</a> has booked a guest starring role on Prison Break. Chris is also playing a high school football player on Friday Night Lights, and has worked everyday this season on the FNL set, except for those dates where he has booked other gigs. Calliope is proud of you, Chris!

<a href="/talent/105">John Montoya</a> booked a supporting role in the feature film Missionary Man, shooting in Dallas. In this Dolph Lundgren produced project, John plays the lead character's brother. John, who is signed with Calliope Talent Management in Los Angeles, spent last fall in LA, and plans to return later this year. Well deserved, John! 

<a href="/talent/104">Amanda Rivas</a> booked a featured role in Guilty, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month to significant critical acclaim. Amanda has created a fantastic momentum, and her success is a great testimony to her development under Calliope Talent Management.

Calliope is very proud to have the ongoing opportunity to work with a very special client, <a href="http://www.jehproductions.com/">JEH Productions</a>. <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0355097/">Jackie Earle Haley</a>, owner of JEH, is nominated for a 2007 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Little Children (he has also received numerous critics' awards for his heartbreaking performance as a child molestor, as well as a SAG nomination). As a child star, Jackie Earle played the lead role of Kelly Leak in all three Bad News Bears films, and starred in other critically acclaimed pictures. He serves as an inspiration for all actors to never give up, because our dreams have no expiration date!!!

Calliope's <a href="/talent/104">Amanda Rivas</a> booked a co-starring role on Fox's Prison Break, shooting in the Dallas area. Calliope CEO <a href="/kmExtendedBio.html">Kristy Martin</a> says, &quot;Amanda is a very focused, professional, well-trained, and committed actor who gives everything she's got to her career. This is a huge win for her and one that is well-deserved.&quot; Congratulations, Amanda!

Todd Haberkorn's Theatre Company, Theatre Fusion, was invited to participate in Dallas' Festival of Independent Theatres.  Calliope CEO Kristy Martin. MA saw Theater Fusion's entry, John Patrick Shanley's The Dreamer Examines His Pillow.  She had this to say about the production &quot;Todd's performance skills are as riveting as they were when he started working with Calliope several years ago.  He's an actor/producer who possesses incredible depth in his character development and choice of material.  Todd is one show business professional who's going places.&quot;

Calliope Talent Management, LLC., is proud to announce that its longtime client, <a href="/talent/4">Rudi Alizah</a> is bringing her singing career to another level by embarking upon a private course of study with Linda Septien of the Dallas-based Septien Entertainment Group.  Linda has intensively developed vocals and business strategies for Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Ryan Cabrera, Destiny's Child, and several American Idol finalists and Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.  Linda and her company are featured in the July, 2006 issue of Texas Monthly. Calliope CEO Kristy Martin, MA has been working with Rudi Alizah since she was 2.

Calliope Actors <a href="/talent/105">John Montoya</a> and Anthony Alfaro star in "Tortillas Again?," the latest release from Maverick Entertainment in association with Fusion Films. This comedy of errors is the first of many films from local independent film makers Paul and Sergio Ramirez to highlight Latino culture in South Texas. "Tortillas Again?" premiered at San Antonio's Alamo Draft House and was featured on local morning shows Great Day SA and San Antonio Living. John Montoya was featured in the New York Times where the film was reviewed by columnist Jason Buchanan. The film has enjoyed international distribution.
